Dude, this isn't some scientific polling to collect data and run sabermetrics on it. Read up on the thread man, it's just another homebrewer doing something fun and cool and looking to engage the rest of us in it. He's making malt in his apartment, this isn't someone trying to compete with Briess.

So this guy was starting a malting company and started with 10 lbs are we are surprised it didn't happen?

Dude, most of this was taken "private" via PM, so it's no surprise hardly anyone responded to your missive. I received my malts on the revised schedule, which didn't bother me at all. Is he a commercial maltster? No. He malted it and offered it out so that it could be tested by a few other homebrewers. As for the results, I used them recently and sent him a PM to that effect and how they were utilized. I also offered some constructive criticism. I felt no reason to make that data public. I am sure that he will refine his process and I would certainly take him up on his offer again. Let's face it, he's trying to do something to make this hobby more enjoyable for himself and it's something most of us wouldn't think of doing.

When I read the original posts I thought he was going into business and wanted to just send out a couple free samples to get people interested. If he is just someone malting at home and wanted to share his product then I misunderstood.
