I'm going to give you a chance to qualify this statement before I tell you to piss off.ROFLMFAO!Being from New York, you probably have better experience at not getting into an argument with a Live Free Or Die New Hampshire resident. I've just got to learn...

I'm not even sure what that means so I'm going to have to chalk it up to the fact that he was trashed...On a slight aside, the other night I was out BSing with a local bartender at the bar. He was off that day and was pretty plastered. So I was trying to explain to him that Bud Light is a Light American Lager. No matter how many times I said that, he came back and said "No it's not, it's Bud Light".

My experience with New Englanders is that they can be stubborn. (I deal with, and negotiate with, people all over the country and have had a share of folks from New England). The graphics of hitting the head against a brick wall was exactly how I felt at the moment I saw it. My assumption was that, as a New Yorker (being regionally closer), Doobah knew when to stop arguing with someone from New Hampshire.Zymo, I always appreciate reading your posts about technical issues. They tend to be clear and insightful. But I'm a stubborn guy (must be the irrational French blood in me) when it comes to "philosophical" arguments, and I expect that you may be as well. We weren't getting any further in the debate, so frankly, after that post I let it go, even though I wanted to respond to another of the follow ups. I figured 4 pages of the thread was enough. My apologies if I offended you.I'm going to give you a chance to qualify this statement before I tell you to piss off.

I'm quite willing to see someones point of view (especially in the beer forum) so I guess you don't have us all pegged. Do you think I could characterize everyone from CA? Even within this forum there are very distinct personalities and characteristics and that's a pretty small sample. The beer forum is a technical place and hence myself and others were trying to take the opinion out of this and move it into an objective space where personal taste is no longer an issue. We can argue all day long about who likes what b/c there is no right answer (and there shouldn't be IMO). But if the discussion becomes objective (technical) a rational exchange can take place and we can avoid the frustration. My experience with New Englanders is that they can be stubborn. My definition of quality actually has nothing to do with AB or even beer. It is influenced more by TQM theories, 6 sigma, ISO 9000, etc.Don't let BMC sucker you into what quality actually means.
