Ok as you all know im getting back into the game next week. I have 1 recipe in mind i think allready so far.. but i wanna start off with something super simple.. yet still very tasty...definite session beer to finish off the hott summer with... so here is what we got...Diabhal Rosta11.00 lb Pale Malt, Maris Otter (3.0 SRM) Grain 87.0 % 0.50 lb Special Roast (50.0 SRM) Grain 4.0 % 0.38 lb Caramel/Crystal Malt - 60L (60.0 SRM) Grain 3.0 % 0.38 lb Caramel/Crystal Malt -120L (120.0 SRM) Grain 3.0 % 0.38 lb Pale choc (200.0 SRM) Grain 3.0 % 1.00 oz Goldings, East Kent [5.00%] (60 min) Hops 18.5 IBU 0.50 oz Goldings, East Kent [5.00%] (5 min) Hops 1.5 IBU Irish Ale (White Labs #WLP004) Yeast-Ale me and my buddy rick like irish ales but we think they are a bit too cloying.. so we made this recipe a while ago like an irish red with a lil more roast. the name diabhal rhosta is gaelic for roasted devil. roasted devil because 0.38lbs = 6oz.. and 3 malts with 6 oz = 666 so its roasted devil irish red but diabhal rhosta just sound better...Cumslut Blonde Ale10.00 lb Pale Malt (2 Row) US (2.0 SRM) Grain 100.0 % 1.00 oz Williamette [5.50%] (60 min) Hops 24.6 IBU Kolsch Yeast (Wyeast Labs #2565) Yeast-Ale I might make slight changes to this recipe.. but i dont wanna really add any specialty malts much simply because i want to attempt to make a TRUE blonde ale not the homebrewer version...so pick one homies. and please refrain from altering the recipes.. only if u have slight suggestions with the blonde ale.. but i prefer just for you to pick one.. not alter them.

I voted for Rosta. I think the recipe looks more interesting and I like the way you formulated your volumes of grain and all. Well back to the board and the brew game. Hope it ferments well!! Mike(Former NE Ohio inhabitant)

I voted for the Irish Read, but If you were going to go for the Blondie, I like WLP001.
