I am hoping to brew 5 gallons of Ofest on Sunday afternoon while the wife goes to work. We will see though, kegs are blowing out like crazy here and its to refill them as well. Plenty in waiting.

Unfortunately, no. I had planned to, but I'm on baby duty this weekend while the wife recovers from surgery. I might take a day off next week to brew up a german hefe, though.

No brewing this weekend. My brew partner and I are heading on a fly fishing excursion for a week. We did spend Friday evening with the brewers at Left Hand Brewing in Longmont, Colorado for a private tour and beer drinking with horseshoes out back. What a rough way to spend a Friday! The beers were fantastic, with 2 of their cask condition pales poured through a beer engine-yummy. If you haven't checked these guys out yet you need too. they are brewing some great beers and styles.https://www.lefthandbrewing.com/

Brewing Belgian Brown Rye and Black Sky Stout Porter today, I'll grow up some Berliner Weiss culture, Lambic culture and lager yeast with the extra runnings from the Belgian Brown Rye. Then on Monday I'll brew the next two batches of Black Sky Stout Porter and feed some more wort to the lager yeast for an Oktoberfest next week or the week after. The O-Fest is a yeast prop for the 'Hammer of the Gods' Imperial Baltic Porter to follow that one.

My hiatus continues from brewing but only a few more weeks left! I'm working up an Amber Ale recipe somewhere in the low-40's IBU wise. Then a batch of pumpkin ale so it's ready for Fall. In the meantime, I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of my brand new dual tap Haier kegerator. It arrives Tuesday! Nice...

Just had another keg blow a couple minutes ago...... And I basically gave away 10 gal recently. So, brewing tomorrow early and figure out what while the strike water heats up. Either 1272, or 1007 slurry and of course good old US-05 are ready to go. Thinking Alt or a hoppy Am Brown/Amber tonight...............

I just finished 10 gallons of very light cream ale (2-row, flaked corn, Spalter, S05). This one should finish fast and low and be ready to serve in a couple weeks. Just had two kegs of APA blow within a day of each other, so need to get them operational ASAP.
