I know that, on the other board, membership there entitled people to submit beers for certain competitions. Is something like that possible here? Is it even necessary?

Not to hijack, but anybody watch Breaking Bad on AMC? I started watching when season two started a month or so back. Pretty good watch. 9:00 CST on AMC.

I think that only matters in the club competitions. Off the top of my head, that we might not qualify for that. Basically though everyone would see the club with winning beers. I'd suggest making Brews-Bros or even Brews-Bros.com, that way if someone wants to look us up they'll be more likely to find us.

I would use this site as a club affiliation if I enter more competitions in the future. I've listed the BB in the past. I haven't been enetering comps lately, though.

I know some are all about it, but I am not big on comps as a general rule, but how sweet would it be to see how many BOS beers this board could produce in one year...

We were listed as a club over at the other place. I don't see why we couldn't be listed as well.For the BOS showings, I think as a group we would do very well. Lots of experience on this site.

The BJCP doesn't recognize clubs, that is handled by the AHA. Pretty much you can go and sign up and we would be a club. - It would allow us to enter the club only comp (but only one entry per comp- Earn club points in the 1st and 2nd rd of nationals- At most local comps they have spots for club affiliation and will announce and post the club name. Depending on how they handle the registrations they may or may not require officical AHA club afflication.There should not be any problem getting registered there are several internet based clubs out there. We may need to give a pysical address but that could be anywhere, could probably make one up and just list the website

Pretty much nothing, George. The AHA is the organization concerned with clubs and all you have to do is declare yourself a club and you are.

I didn't search every state, but I found this one in CO: Brew Brothers Brewing Club Not quite, but close. You'd be surprised at how many registered HB clubs there are in AL, right on activism.If we were registering Brews Brothers as an AHA Homebrew Club, what state would be chosen? Can we get Inebriation? If not, Indianna so we can tell everyone it stands for Inebriation?Edit: I did A-B, CA, CO, WA, OR, NY
