18 hours later i'm still getting 2-3 airlock bubbles per minute. Fully 1 week since pitching 1.075 OG. Odd...I would agree, likely just degassing at this point

Ahhh, I remember now. It was always frowned upon until Chris said something about doing it.I don't think so. The yeast will happily take in any oxygen you give it.
