I am bring my collected wort up to a boil as I type this message. I am brewing an American Pale Ale. I did FWH of Simcoe and Willamette. Aroma was awesome while collecting the running. Bitter with Warrior and ferment with 2112.I might try and brew an American Amber tomorrow night as well.Have a great weekend all!!

So far 10 gallons of "Use Up All My Old Hops" IPA isn't going so well. Burner may be rusted too far. Its working but not up to speed.

Kegged three versions of ESB yesterday and also brewed an Amber Ale recipe that's more in line with the toasty Fat Tire thing except I'm sure I'm using better ingredients (almost all Crisp malts) and mine will actually be 16SRM instead of 8 or so.

I picked up a vial of WLP026 Premium Bitter so I will probably brew an ordinary or standard bitter this weekend at some point. EKG and Marris Otter, should be pretty darn authentic.

If you haven't already, try using 15-20% Mild Malt in those ordinary and standard bitters. I brew those beers a lot (ordinary bitter is my Miller Lite) and really miss the mild malt when I don't use it.

Cranked out 13 gallons of rye DIPA yesterday. 8oz of chinook and zuess at 60, should have about 120 IBUs, Kegging a Liquid Stupid today, and transferring a double batch of belgian blond.

One new burner, 13.5 oz of hops, and a nifty burn later I have 10 gallons of IPA.FYI hook up your output chiller hose before you throw the lever in the input.

Good to see you got a brew in this weekend since it looked like you had a problem earlier in the thread. Thank goodness or new burners. 13.5oz of hops nice, sounds like a sweet IPA to me.

Contributed 10G towards a group brew of a Consecration-inspired beer. Should be a good'un... eventually.

Finished MLPA about 3 hours ago...came out spot on. 1.048 mashed at 152, had to improvise on hops a bit as my mt hood were only 3.8AA and around 8-9 months old, so I threw in about .5oz of galena to up the bitterness a bit. Should be tasty regardless.

I'm hoping so. It is bittered with 21 IBus of Willamette and some EKG at knockout. First cereal mash I done in a while with no scorching on the bottom of the pot so clean up was a breeze.
