Now that you mention it, there was a decent recipe section back on the green board (heretical, I know). Truth is, I've made enough mead to know how to get what I want and with the FAQs here, the subject is pretty much covered for the less experienced. I wonder some times if there have been any innovations in terms of protcol and I believe oskaar went through the UC Davis oenology and could be helpful in that regard.
So if you do pay for it, raid the recipe section and bring it here.
