I believe that the board software will automagically resize JPEGs for you but will not with PNG or GIF images. At the old place, I just picked an avatar that I liked, but all the ones I keep finding aren't as cool. I tried to upload a pic, but it was too big I guess. Can I size the pic down? How?

Avatars should be 50k or smaller. Its a JPEG but it says The error returned was:The total filespace required to upload all the attached files is greater than your per post or global limit. Please reduce the number of attachments or the size of the attachments.

Image / Resize. Just for future reference. Or Ctrl-W if you like keyboard shortcuts.I really suck at computers... mehI couldn't figure out how to scale in Paint but did it on a photo editor I didn't know I had. Succuss! See, look how much I learned!

Are you clicking the "Update Avatar" button after you upload it? Also note that avatars must be no bigger than 64x64.I am uploading a 90x61 pixel JPEG, and for some reason it keeps reverting to a messed up version of my old avatar. Any ideas on where I am going wrong?
