so yesterday we were doing a BBQ and afriend of ours with her kids and our daughternlaws parents were over. so they all get a tour of the brewroom and they want samples, then eddy spots a gallon of joe's ancient orange aging on a back shelf and tries it. then the women try it, and so my gallon of mead is gone by the end of the day, so now they want to learn how to make mead."converts"

A noble sacrifice to the cause! Kudos, and condolences on your lost mead.... :)

The mead may be lost, but converts are worth it. :)

I did put the jug back in the fridge after they left and after clearing i think i can get me a big glass later, it will be 5 gallon next time, and on a seperate note. he put out two recipes, one with lalvins and one with bread yeast. definately go with the lalvins, the bread yeast one is tuff to swallow.
