I have used these in a few kegs with no problems yet...

Holy kegs Batman! Over 100 kegs? Where do you keep them and why do you need so many? Are they full? If so......

Seriously, this is why I can't find them at a decent price...

Well, I just received the poppets from canada today. These are the longer ones. I haven't put them to use in a keg yet, but I think they will work just fine. I believe the top piece is just a hair shorter, so it shouldn't stick out as much (it will still stick out just a bit though, I believe).I personally don't mind that it will require more force to put the disconnect on, as long as it can still open and allow beer/co2 to flow.I'm not sure if the last link still works, so I'll post it here:https://www.ebay.com...e#ht_643wt_1397Again, these are shipping from canada, so don't expect next day delivery, but I got mine in maybe a week to week and half (can't remember exactly).Another slight difference, is the spring actually grips on to the poppet more firmly, the older ones were very loose and didn't grip at all. It doesn't really make that big of a difference for me though. The older one is on the left, and the newer one is on the right in the picture

I've been using these for a while now, and am very happy. I have replaced around 10-12 in total now, and still have a handful left. I will most definitely order more as I get lower on stock.

gnef, I have stopped buying the specialized poppets and am replacing all the leaky ones with the universal types.

So far they work great, no leaks. Pressurized kegs STAY that way!

The only problem is the chance of loosing a poppet top down the drain when rinsing out a post.

So far... none lost.  I hope it stays that way.
