Anyone know anything about this brew?I'm more of a big malt guy than a hop guru, but I was particularly impressed by this profile and would like to incorporate it into an upcoming brew.Any info you can share on this brew would be appreciated, thanks.

I don't, but I can tell you it sent me down a semi-clonish tear to make something I liked as much as it. My favorite was a "large" sized version with lots of hops, I called Hop Gobblin'. I've made similar but smaller (1.056 and 40 IBU) versions with this yeast, 1026, West Yorkshire, and London III - all good - but I want to try Thames Valley and Southwold as well. Here's a fairly coveted, as-yet unreleased recipe for your consideration:12 lbs Pale Malt, Golden Promise (Thomas Fawcett) (3.0 SRM) Grain 41.4 %12 lbs Pale Malt, Maris Otter (Crisp) (4.0 SRM) Grain 41.4 %1 lbs 12.0 oz Caramel Malt - 40L (Briess) (40.0 SRM) Grain 6.0 %1 lbs Barley, Flaked (Briess) (1.7 SRM) Grain 3.4 %2.0 oz Caramel Malt - 120L (Briess) (120.0 SRM) Grain 0.4 %2.0 oz Roasted Barley (Briess) (300.0 SRM) Grain 0.4 %2.00 oz Target [11.00%] (60 min) Hops 34.0 IBU4.00 oz Goldings, East Kent [5.00%] (15 min) Hops 15.3 IBU4.00 oz Goldings, East Kent [5.00%] (15 min) (Aroma Hop-Steep) Hops -4.00 oz Goldings, East Kent [5.00%] (Dry Hop 3 days) Hops -2.00 tsp Gypsum (Calcium Sulfate) (Mash 60.0 min) Misc1 lbs Sugar, Muscavado (25.0 SRM) Sugar 3.4 %1 lbs Sugar, Raw (10.0 SRM) Sugar 3.4 %Big Starter British Real Ale (Brewtek #CL-0150) Yeast-AleMeasured Original Gravity: 1.076 SGMeasured Final Gravity: 1.018 SGActual Alcohol by Vol: 7.6 %Bitterness: 49.3 IBUEst Color: 12.9 SRM

I think of Hobgoblin as a classic example of fuggles hop flavor. Here's a recipe that seems well received. I think that one has hop additions like these: 0.50 oz Styrian Goldings First Wort Hops 0.50 oz Fuggles First Wort Hops 0.50 oz Styrian Goldings (30 min) 0.50 oz Fuggles (30 min) 0.50 oz Fuggles (0 min) 0.50 oz Styrian Goldings (0 min)
