Poured a bag of 6 row into my running grain mill and after noticed it was actually a bag w/ 1.5# caramunich and 1.5# 60L. Its not the end of the world for a 12gal batch of intended cream ale, just gonna have some color and bit more backbone now. Oh well brew on!
Opps poured the wrong grain into the mill

Maybe "Sun bronzed golden ale" or something.

Hey happens to the best of us. As they say at least you will still make beer and it could be worse. You should keep that to yourself if you serve this beer to others and just say cream ale, see if anyone notices anything different. Hope the rest of the brew went good.

Actually I suspect it'll likely turn into a good combo anyways so it should be all good (didn't probably totally clarify that I had to 6 row on hand as well and tossed that in as intended so the extras were just bonus so to speak). Think about it a light base grain recipe with about 20IBU getting hit with a bit of 60L and caramunich. Its definitely noticeably darker than a basic cream ale but should still be a good summer session brew which was the intention.Hey happens to the best of us.
