In the article Denny posted, it mentions shaking up a sample to see if foam forms. Forming the foam has never been a problem, so I think there's enough of the proteins in there. I'm going to focus on fermentation. First I'll ferment cooler, I'll put the primary in a mini fridge at 60F. If that doesnt work, I'll try to pitch more yeast and see if that makes a difference.I would suggest the OP do the next brew without the moss and if he wants to clear it out later, he can use isinglass or gelatin in combination with a cold crash a few days before bottling and kegging.

Wait, sorrry for the thread jack, but say what? Is there a euphamism I'm missing here or are people crushing their viagra and putting it in the tree water?I've heard of it being used to keep christmas trees green, but I've never heard of it being used in wort. Is it a 15 min addition?

I don't know how someone figured it out but supposedly it is supposed to keep the xmas tree fresh and keep the needles from falling off....probably just a 'new' wives tailYeah, I got Blktre's joke, it's the green christmas trees that I don't get.
