Have you used an ohm meter and checked out all your grounds and ground points lately? I don't do it every time, and I probably should. But I do make a point to check everything a few times a year. Everything just checked out fine for the session tomorrow. I do realize that poking around with an ohm meter may not tell you 100% if a ground is going to hold up under a large current load, but checking is better than not checking. If you brew electric, hopefully you know what I'm talking about. If not, you'd probably better study up. :facepalm:Edit: Use the AC setting on your voltmeter and check the ground at your outlet too!

Yeah, I've gotten sloppy the last couple of times. I'll check the next time I brew. Did you get zapped or something?

No I didn't get zapped, just doing my somewhat regular check and I figured I'd post a reminder.

I need to do this. I figured I would check over everything when I install the new control box but doing it twice will not hurt a bit. Thanks for the reminder

So I stick one of the probes into the dirt right?I kid, I kid. Good reminder and something I'll do this evening before I forget.
