The 2011 Mazer Cup Winners Circle Paired Mead Tasting EventThis event features the MCI 2010 Gold Medal Commercial Meadery Competition winners. This year, the event will be held on Friday, April 1, at the Boulder Outlook Hotel from 7:00 - 10:00 PM.The Winners Circle will feature 20 different and distinct meads from around the world. Each featured mead will be paired with a portion of food crafted to compliment the mead and enhance the flavor of the food and mead. Included in the price of admission are a program of the featured mead pairings, a listing of the meaderies participating in the event, and a commemorative tasting glass. We will also be recording your votes for the best pairing.This event is limited in size and tickets are going fast at $50.00 each. Payments are processed via Credit Card or PayPal. You may obtain your tickets here.If you plan on attending we recommend that you stay at the hotel as 20-1 ounce pours is almost a full bottle of mead for each attendee. Group rates are available at the Outlook Hotel on the MCI 2011 Website.There are no other open-to-the-public events at the Mazer Cup.Boulder is home to several very fine breweries, nearby skiing, the eclectic Boulder downtown area on Pearl Street, and lots of great places to see the sights.See you at the Winners Circle
