Picked up some fresh squeezed cider yesterday , no preservatives and not pasteurized , but he thinks it was frozen , would freezing it kill the wild yeast and if so can I go ahead and add my own wyeast and make a batch of hard cider.

I don't think it was froze very long at all , they press the cider and if there is extra they put it in the freezer and bring it out as needed . They press at least 3 or 4 times a week so its very fresh and the taste is unbelievable .I wish I would have asked what the mix of apples was , its really good.
