I love me some Styrian Goldings. IMO possibly the most versatile hop in existence. Great anytime in the boil or as dry hops, and play well with all sorts of styles. If I could only have one hop...blah blah blah...

Yeah, I feel the same way. IMO, you could take Styrian Goldings and Mt. Hood and use them for just about any beer you want including pilsners, Oktobers, Pale Ales, English, etc. They're both very clean & versatile. Maybe we should create a faux-noble (Foble?) hop category and place these 2 hops in there.Me: Yes, Mt. Hood and Styrian Goldings are Foble hops.Other guy: Noble? Really?Me: No, not Noble.
