Yes, and brought it up to 6 with the mash-out infusion. It worked; no stuck sparge and I hit my target dead on... actually, got a little higher as my OG was 1.056... not worried about going over slightly. Water used 5G strike, 1G mash out infustion, 3 Sparge. Yielded about 5.5G in primary after trub loss.I'm happy, best brewday yet...not that any have been bad. I may end up naming this, "No 4 Letter Word Wheat" as I think it's the first time I didn't curse once! I'll keep my fingers crossed.The wort tastes pretty good, hopefully my temp control plays well with my new freezer now.Am I reading this correct? 5 instead of 6. You used less strike water because you are using rice hulls? FYI. I do not add rice hulls until the mash is complete and right before I start the first sparge/drain.
