Grrr.... It's been awhile, but my German Lager will not be tapped for Halloween this year due to large amounts of diacetyl. Pitchable amount of yeast my ass. :)Now the question is whether I drop some integrity points and get a commercial keg just so I still have a lager around, or do we just go without, and live with the APA, Mango Wit, Dry Stout, and Pumpkin Ale?

A d-rest is the first thing to try. But I assume he's serving this coming weekend. I wouldn't count on it being ready by then........

I was just busting them on him for not taking the precaution. We all know Lou needs some busting at times...A d-rest is the first thing to try. But I assume he's serving this coming weekend. I wouldn't count on it being ready by then........
