I followed MtnBrewer's toasting instructions on this forum. The toasted malts smell great in the mash.I toasted One#(two-row),making an Chinook IPA(or pale ale) really close to both styles.Mashing at 155degrees.Maybe steam some oak chips and let it secondary on those too. I can't beleive i never tried this before.BTW,i will have 3 brews fermenting when this one starts.Kind of a brewing blitz.

The only reason I bought a barley crusher was so I could toast my own. Before I crushed everything at the LHBS before taking it home. I love toasting me up some amber or brown malt. Prost!
