thanksI pretty sure this is actually local. A buddy in castle rock met a small time keeper down there who is willing to unload some product to us in bulk. I'm not sure what elevation or location he keeps at, but there is a good chance it will have a high berry content based on my knowledge of the area.Around here we have been paying $22.50 a gallon for wildflower and $27 a gallon for varietals so I'd say you are well in line. Especially if it is in fact local honey I'd say it's a reasonable deal. The $22.50 per gallon we are paying for wildflower is not western slope Ambrosia. I'd pay $28 a gallon for that any day of the week.

Thanks for the additional data point.Have you started that low gravity cyser that we spoke about? I did a few sample blends of my mead light and a cider I have and the idea shows promise at that gravity if fermentation has a similar result as I had with my mead lite.that's on par with over on this side if you get it from the beekeeper direct
