9 bottles of the vertical from last year doesn't count :rolleyes:Hah, that's cool. I wanted to collect them, but I knew I was going to be moving around so much that keeping a bottle collection like that wasn't going to be feasible for me. I wish I could have done that. I wonder how much the full set will be going for on ebay in about 2.5 years

I had 04-09 ... drank the 03 before I realized what I had. Decided to trade them off for other beers because there was no way I would be able to get 02/03

I will never know, I'm not selling, I'm gonna enjoy them. I have a few years that I bought multiple bottles. I'm cellaring all of it.My rarest beer is the three bottles I have left of SamiChlaus from the last year it was brewed in Switzerland, approx 1996. I had one three years ago and it was fantastic. Oh so temptng everytime I want a strong beer.

I do have a bunch of mid-90s Thomas Hardy's. That's about the only thing 'collectible' that I have.

This exactly.I have thought of putting a sixer or so of a beer for later time.I have a beergun now.Anyone know if bottle conditioned beer(sugar added at bottling) and stuff ran off with my beergun from keg, which is better for long time storage?

I would guess that bottle conditioned might be better for long term storage but I don't know how well the beergun does at purging and keeping O2 out.

The beer gun is GREAT for bottling. It has a connection to Co2. Purge bottle with Co2, fill bottle, add Co2 to the headspace and cap. Done
