I've been cleaning out my crib pretty serious since I have a bunch of friends coming to visit in 3 weeks for awhile. As part of the process I inventoried my "cellar" which is pretty much just a small chest freezer in my apartment. Here's the main list, I have other "daily" beers available, but this is the "don't touch my beer man" list.Brooklyn Sorachi Ace 750 mLBrooklyner Hopfenweiss 750 mLSchneider Hopfenweiss .5 LCantillon Zwanse 2009 750 mLCantillon Lou Pepe Framboise 2007 750 mL3 Fonteinen Oude Gueuze 2008 750 mLMillennium Gueuze 750 mL2 x Sierra Nevada 30th Anniversary - Fritz and Ken's Ale 750 mL4 x Westvletern 12 33 cLWestvletern 8 33 cLWestvletern 6 33 cLSweetwater Happy Ending 2010 750 mLUerige Doppelsticke 33 cLSierra Nevada Celebration 2008 12 ozGuinness 250th Anniversary 12 ozEl Camino (Un)Real Black Ale 12 ozKuhnhenn Olde Brune 2010 12 ozDelirium Tremens 33 cLStone XI - 11th Anniversary 22 ozDiesel Hessian Ale 2009 22 ozDiesel Kings Kolsch 2009 22 ozSt. Feuillien Sasion 750 mLLa Trappe Quad 750 mLSeriously though, if someone drank my Millennium Gueuze without me, I would no longer be friends with them. If someone would do inventory for me I'll post it. I poked around a little on Saturday. There must be at least 7 cases of stuff, all mixed, some 12 oz and some bombers. I'm too lazy - would rather just be surprised.

I don't really know what's in there and I kind of don't want to know. Here are some of the things I remember.
[*]Several years of Bigfoot[*]A bottle of Quelque Chose[*]Some Stone Vertical Epics[*]A case of New Glarus Belgian Red[*]Several commercial meads[*]Some lambics, guezes and other sours[*]A lot of homebrew - a few tripels and two different batches of imperial stouts[*]Some peach mead that I made[/list]I'm probably forgetting all kinds of stuff.

Deschutes Dissident 2008 MMM great beer and I am happy they will be re-releasing it. Just an FYI many of the '09 Abyss's are infected. I had 4 bottles that were all infected. Dechutes knows about it and apparently also had an infection on the few Black Butee.

I actually don't have much commercial beer at all, just some 90 minute IPA, duck rabbit milk stout, and SN torpedo, I get an occasional belgian, but drink those fairly soon after purchase - they are usually for research to figure out if I want to make 10 gallons of the stuff.I have a tremendous amount of homebrew on hand though, which is the main reason why I don't have much commercial beer at home. I figure I've already made this beer for considerably less than commercial beer per pint, so why spend more money for less?

Really. Now that's interesting. I'll have to look into that a little more and find out if it was random bottles or a specific run. I know Odel had some gushers in their India Barley Wine and I've got 2 of those left. Thanks for the heads up. I'll just have to drink them on my own to be safe. Wouldn't want to bring out an infected bottle for a special occasion and all :smilielol:

No, but my FIL lives a few miles away from the brewery, so his local beer store carries it. I've had a few of their selections, unfortunately one was sour'd, so hopefully the rest are better.

Sour on purpose or something went wrong? Which beer was it?I take it the FIL is going to Bert's? They have a pretty nice selection there.

Their Wrigian was sour'd and to my knowledge it's not suppose to be. And yes, I went to Berts with my FIL. Nice small place, owner was a really nice, knowledgable guy.

I thought it seemed pretty tart and I actually e-mailed the brewer about the beer. Whether it was on purpose or not I thought it was a nice beer all the same.ETA: it seems the may batch was better received than the march batch. The last one I had was a May batch. The one I have in my basement - I'm not so sure.

I'd have to check, but I think I might have a bottle. I'll trade for an all expenses paid trip to Belgium.
