I usually dry hop in the serving keg with leaf hops and a sure screen. On the latest IPA, I'm using pellets, so I threw them in a muslin bag and dumped them in the keg - no sure screen. Can I serve from this keg as-is, or do I need to pull out the bag to prevent it from clogging the dip tube?
Yet another dry hopping question...

Since you put the hops in a muslin you should be fine to serve from this keg. The muslin bag should block the pellets from getting into your diptube. I have dry hopped like this many time with no issues. I normally leave the hops in for the entire time the keg is being consumed but if you want you can tie a line to it and pull it out whenever you like. But you can serve from this keg as you described. Cheers!!

I did this once. No problems except for a little bit of hop sludge on the first pour of the keg and then on subsequent pours if I moved the keg and stirred things up.I usually dry hop in the serving keg with leaf hops and a sure screen.
