First time growing hops and they've stopped growing vertically, have shot out side vines and I've had cones for about 2 weeks. Not sure when I should harvest (do you harvest throughout the summer?) and am looking for a good step-by-step website out there - any recommendations?

you want to wait until they seem a little bit dry I think. last year I didn't harvest until sept though but I've heard of people doing a couple of harvests. I'm only on year 2 so I'm not that far ahead of you concerning knowledge here.First time growing hops and they've stopped growing vertically, have shot out side vines and I've had cones for about 2 weeks. Actually they are bines, not vines. Really! I'm not be a smart ass, see: https://en.wikipedia...ki/Bine_(botany)Other than that, I don't know much else about growing them.
