Exactly. Very context-specific. If a friend says, "Hey, let's wander down to Trinity after work." I might think of their new saison. If my dad mentions it, it's not BMC, it's Budweiser specifically. If I say that I'll stop at Coaltrain on the way over to pick up some beer, it's nothing specific. I'll see what looks good when I get there.This.Depends on the company, though. If my dad or my neighbors mention it, it's BMC. If it's here or around "beer" people, my first question would be "What kind?"

Not me. I could care less what others think when the word "Beer" is mentioned. I think about what I like specifically and thats hops. Now when brewing for events, I care about what all types of people may think of when they think about the word "Beer". Otherwise, its all about me. Others can order what they want. If a non educated asks me about different "Beer Styles" then thats different, that is open for discussion and recommendation.Exactly. Very context-specific. Nope, not at all. If somebody (no matter who they are) says "Lets go get a beer" I dont think about what style the other person wants. Thats their gig. If they say "Lets go get a beer, what do you recommend" then I can get into a discussion about their taste buds and what they might like. You seem to be contradicting yourself here.
