I'd probably just increase the 60 min addition stuff to get the IBUs where you want them and leave the flavor/aroma additions the same.Just got some hops in the post and was in the process of makin a Bell's 2 Hearted Clone. All Centennial. But the recipe is using an AA of 11% and mine are 6%. Can I just up the amount to get to the prescribed IBU of 50something or is there a detrimental problem with that? Just curious if the aroma was on some sort of AA ratio or not. I am a bit leery of creating something that is bitter enough but has twice the aroma character of what I'm trying to accomplish. This science stuff just baffles me.Thanks,J

I agree.(You have Centennial at 6 IBU's? That's some of the lowest I've ever seen - in Cascade range. Where'd you get it?)I'd probably just increase the 60 min addition stuff to get the IBUs where you want them and leave the flavor/aroma additions the same.

wow - that's a pretty significant drop. When I started brewing (about 7 years ago) centennials were running around 12%, now mine are down to 8.9%. Seems pretty standard across the board too
