This evening the man in brown showed up. You would have thought it was Christmas from the look on my face when he laid this on my door step:Posted ImageIt's bursting at the seams. Definitely more volume than the box was intended to ever hold. And what was inside?Posted Image40lb puppy added for scale. Looks like I need to do some brewing

Was that from Hops direct?I just realized i hadn't got my hops from them yet. I just checked the receipt from May 20th, They got the wrong ship to address! If it took 4 days handle and another 4 to get here ground, that means my hops have been sitting on the doorstep of my old house since May 28th. They have been sitting in the hot weather for a week! Does anyone think they will still be good (all pellets, vacuum sealed)? Awe man this sucks!Cheers,Rich

Yup it's a Hops Direct order. Showed up a day early no less. The pellets are vacuum packed but the leaf hops have some space in there. I believe the flood the bags with nitrogen? Not sure where I heard that but that seems to be stuck in my head. I'd say your hops are probably still all right though I'd go get them ASAP!

2.45 oz per 5 gallons is the plan. So I'll need the first 1.83lbs for the first brew.

Alas they are home and I am not. I don't think they were 14% this year but I forget the exact AA.

Thanks for the translation. It is friday ya know.If there's any extra its only a little extra. I weighed the bags and they are all very close weight wise. I don't know what the bag weighs but if I had to guess I'd say they are only a couple ounces over. The pellets are as they have always been, pretty spot on.

Mine will give me about 100 IBUs at 2oz per 5 gallons (high gravity, 60 min boil).

There is a reason I don't post such things in the PH.Maybe you'd do better if I posted the pics on facebook?
