I concur on the rice hulls. I also suspect it would end up pretty bleh.I predict a stuck mash if you don't use rice hulls ... Otherwise I got nothing

I think i would like to know your results.I have experimented some used shredded potatoes(whole i shredded myself)around 4 years ago, don't remember the results without consulting notes but do believe it was drinkable.Have used Whole corn(rinsed, ground up and added to the mash)some great, and the second one i used too much corn.My concern would be preservatives, i would try to buy cereals at perhaps an organic store if you can find one near you.I was thinking of making a BMC clone by using a great deal of stuff you'd find in any grocery store. Without moving this to the recipe thread, what would happen if I did something like take a box of rice crispies, a box of corn flakes (both of which would probably have to be ran through a food processor to not clog up my braid) and 3 lbs of two row lager malt and three lbs of 6 row.Would this work at all ya think?

1) The challenge of it. 2) I imagine it would ferment out dryer and I'd be less fat and disgusting.OK, I'm lost. Why would you want to do this?Other than playing troll on this board, which we all know you are not.You can't make it cheaper, and you can spend your time and effort making tasty beers.I'm "Corn-fused" ???

I'm not sure that's going to help you much. You'd just be trading out calories from carbs for calories from alcohol. If you want light beer you have to start with a low starting gravity.2) I imagine it would ferment out dryer and I'd be less fat and disgusting.
