I have been on a roll lately, three brews in three weeks.American wheat/Alt/American wheat .My first wheat turned out great, love the taste and color. My original idea was to 'pimp it' with the cherry extract but this taste too good for that. I am tossing the idea of adding cherry extract to taste when i run off a growler or so.Been about four years since i used (lhbs)extract. Could i get an 'Amen 'out there? does this sound ok?

I came into the thread planning to tell you to be careful with the cherry extract. Sounds like you're already doing that. Good idea.

I'd buy a can of Oregon Pitted Cherries (or cherry puree). The extract stuff tastes like cough medicine.

FWIW....the Sam Adams Cherry Wheat beer is quite possibly the worst beverage made on the planet....be careful with those cherries!
