I really wish I had two 10g fermenters.

...more importantly, two temp control chambers.I hate waiting for one beer to be done to brew another. :frank:

I have had the feeling before many times as well. My fermentation chamber (chest freezer) can hold two carboys at once. I used to brew and hope a ferment would be done in 6 days or so so I could brew the next weekend as well. Especially if I had doubled brewed the previous weekend. Now I try to brew one a weekend and know I have space to brew the following again and then the following beer one is done so I can brew again. I know its important though don't rush the ferment so you get quality beers each time.

Get a big plastic tub and frozen water bottles if you have the room. If not, wait until winter to really crank out the batches. :frank:

I'm too anal for that (not to mention lazy). I need a temp controller to do my work for me. I have a dual fermentation chamber that I've been slowly working on. I just can't find the time and energy to finish it up.

If you build it they will ferment.I have the opposite problem. I build my chamber to accommodate 40 gal worth of fermenters, and with brewing time, I have yet to have that thing full.

Whoa. 40 gal. :frank:I don't think I'd go above 20 gallons. I'd have to be brewing more than once a week to even require 30 gallons and I can rarely find the time to brew once every other week. For the most part I've only been averaging about a batch a month, maybe even a little less. I'm working on it though. :D

Brewing for yourself i agree. Brewing for events is another story. There's a reason why i jumped up to 24g batches. I couldn't keep up otherwise. I suggest spending money on fermentors that are a little bigger than 10g tho.

I was just referring to the batch size. My current fermenter is the 14.5 gallon MiniBrew conical. I wouldn't go any smaller than that for a 10 gal batch (which is actually 11 gallons in the fermenter).
