oh yeah - he wad def doing some stuff wrong there but in the end he could have ended up with something at least somewhat drinkable. Probably better than Mr. Beer anyway.I noticed that as well. I think I've seen him drink beer in other episodes and he seems to handle it just fine. Maybe he made some nasty stuff.

IIRC, I think George followed the recipe and steps... I wish I could remember how it turned out.

IIRC he reported it was just OK and had some of the defects most of us anticipated. Still beer though - and increased interest/awareness of homebrewing.Was this the episode with Garrett Oliver? They just rebroadcast that one. One cool guy. I caught him at their booth at GABF a couple years ago when he had time to visit. When I was ready to move on I commented that he was the best dressed brewer there (seen him a couple times, always coat, vest and tie). He took a look around the convention center and said "It wasn't too difficult". I about blew his beer out my nose.

That is pretty funny. Yeah, he was on the show, dressed to the Nines as usual. He is, indeed, always well dressed in public.MolBasser
