This is the sam adams long shot comp, I was just glancing at the rules out of curiosity (the bad grape beer was mentioned in another thread). These are their suggested guidelines. Seems odd they are willing to do a lager up to 1.090 but only up to 1.068 for an ale...?

Lager:# OG Range: 11.8 – 20 ºP (1.044 -1.090)# Fermentation Temperature: 53 - 60ºFAle:# OG Range: 11.8 – 16.5 ºP (1.044 -1.068)# Fermentation Temperature: 65 - 70 ºF

Misprint? Seems like they swapped the two gravities.

The DIPA in the 6 pack I just bought was 9.6%. Maybe this is new for this year?

I had mildly thought about entering but don't feel like rushing to bottle so I'll pass on the "longshot" that it is anyways, lol.
