Just got a chinook from someone on craigslist. It sounds like it has been out of the ground a couple of days, stored in plastic bags. The vines are already 2-3 feet tall and looking a tad wilted. I cant get it in the ground till tomorrow afternoon. Should I just put it in the ground? Cut back the vines that have started? It looks like it was a fairly healthy plant. Thanks

Get it in the ground as soon as you can. I would cut the bines that have started if they are looking pretty sad. If not, just leave them and see how well they do. When you say "tomorrow afternoon", do you mean Saturday? And do I assume correctly that you got the entire crown?
