Don't know if 53 IBU's is a hop bomb in your book, but this is the best English IPA I have made yet. I was curious so I did some looking and found the AG version ... looks pretty simple, but I like simple a lot of the time:One of the best beers I ever brewed was the English IPA extract kit from More Beer.2 oz Magnum 60 min2 oz EKG 10 min2 oz of EKG flame outI forget the details of the malt, but is was pretty basic. I also used oak chips.Partial boil, extract, White Labs vial - no starter. It is supposed to suck. It did not.zymot
