sounds deliciousi hope you are finding the ESB malt as good as i am.Brewing a jaggery ipa tonight after the sounders game. Will look something like this;Grains & Adjuncts15.00 lbs Pils10.00 lbs ESB malt2.00 lbs Caramel 60L3.00 lbs Jaggery Hops2.00 ozs Chinook - 90 mins2.00 ozs Amarillo Gold - 10 mins2.00 ozs Columbus (Tomahawk) - 5 mins1.00 ozs Columbus (Tomahawk) - 2 mins1.00 ozs Amarillo Gold - 2 mins

Raspberry Ale? sounds intersting. I could not find it on your site, Will you share that w/us in the Recipe section sometime? or did i miss it?I made an American Lager on Thursday and I have a Raspberry Ale coming up on Monday or Tuesday. Cheers!

I get mine from the local Indian (dot not feather) market. I'm sure you could find it online if you had to. There are cheaper forms of jaggery, but make sure you get gur (i.e. palm sugar instead of cane)it makes a huge difference. It adds a nice subtle sweet and caramel flavor while drying the beer.Beer is fermenting strong.Where do you pick up the jaggery? Is it something you can pick up in a latin/caribbean market? I can't say I've ever seen it at any of the "alternative" stores I shop at. Do you get it online? Hope it comes out nicely.
