If you stay with natural carbing, you "might" wanna cut a 1/2 inch or so off of your liquid diptubes.ZOMG!@#$% 2319#$%@!!! SARAH PALIN!!! :facepalm:I just got my fittings for the ball locks and my picnic tap. Gonna naturally carb the beer in the corny and hit it up with a keg charger. Cheers,Rich

Meh, the first beer or two will pull some gunk but it will disappear right?I don't plan on doing it this way forever, hopefully only a few more months.Cheers,RichIf you stay with natural carbing, you "might" wanna cut a 1/2 inch or so off of your liquid diptubes.

no regulator, just a 16 gram charger (w/spares) so I could damage things pretty easily.Maybe I should cold crash it in the fridge (in carboy) before I rack the beer onto the sugar for carbing, that way I dont get as much gunk.Cheers,RichWhy not just force carb now?MolBasser

Not sure how you mean. I have only bottled so far, this is my first attempt at carbing in a keg. My process is, rack to bottling bucket with corn sugar and bottle. I leave the bottles in the closet or a couple weeks and wahla, I gots carbed beer. I keep my primary in a swamp cooler at around 64 degrees for 3-4 weeks, no secondary. Usually after about 3-4 days in the fridge the bottles clear up nicely and I have clear beer, but there is always a little gunk at the bottom of the bottle, no biggie. If what you mean is to cold condition the primary (or secondary) before carbing then no I haven't done that, but that's kinda what I had in mind for the keg. Cheers,RichYou don't cold condition already?!?!?Of course you should! MolBasser
