that would be niceAs long as you know the estimated IBU of the finished brew it fairly easy to extrapolate the amount of a certain AA% hop to use. But Ideally listing hops as AA units is better.what ken said...situations like this make me love recipes that list hops in terms of AAUs.

no3lbs or crystal is a lot. have you made this recipe before?

yes, that is a lot of crystal, 1/2 of that would be a lot of crystal. I'd cut the crystal down to no mare than 1.5 lbs of crystal. You should also consider putting at least 1.5 lbs of 2-row into this to help the Wheat Malt convert.I don't think I've ever made something with that much crystal....I would definitely want more bitterness to balance the inevitably higher FG if you were to go ahead with that much crystal malt.... especially since you are using extract in this one....
