That pretty much covers it. Welcome to the smart (lazy) keg cleaners club.No more soaking kegs and carboys for days at a time to get clean... but you will find yourself saving back till you have 3-4 kegs, just so you can clean them all in under 20 min--- ahhahahahahaha. You will never look back, except to ask yourself why you didn't make one sooner!Congrats.

Yeah, I'm stoked. I spent several hours cleaning TWO kegs a few weeks ago. I can't handle that anymore. It's even worse because all my stuff is in the basement and I use the kitchen sink, so i'm running up and down the stairs every 5 minutes. I'm installing a sink and countertop down there to make things go even quicker. No more soaking kegs and carboys for days at a time to get clean... but you will find yourself saving back till you have 3-4 kegs, just so you can clean them all in under 20 min--- ahhahahahahaha. You will never look back, except to ask yourself why you didn't make one sooner!Congrats.

I have the same setup I built at home, but did it all with PVC. I don't even have a spray ball on top, just use straight 1/2" pvc. It works well with both keg and carboy. I didn't build the funky wood thing for the carboy holder, I just use the blue plastic upright carboy holder/drainer thingy I bought from the LHBS for $7.Something along the line of this.

That is the exact design I used, however I used PVC instead of copper, because it is sooo much cheaper and easier to work with. I made three different length wands with various hole configurations drilled to accommodate kegs and the various sized carboys that I have for about $10.Something along the line of this.
