Just crushed the grains and poured out the strike water for a 5 am start up tomorrow. Looking forward to brewing up an American Amber, West Coast style.

I made a rye Pale Ale of sorts this past thursday, wanted to do a roggenbier(ncbeerbrewer's recipe)did not have the ingredients i needed .Used 3.5# of rye this beer, more than i have ever used in one. Fermentation has been going good for two days.

Brewed an IPA yesterday, came in at 15.25P, 15 should be the max for the style, so I am calling it that. Bittered with cents, and 3 flavor/aroma with split cascade/amarillo. I have been brewing DIPAs so much, I figured a nice smooth session IPA would be necessary.

Gonna brew up an extra pale tomorrow. First time using the WL Manchester Ale yeast, we'll see how it turns out. Happy brewing everybody and
