I have this large plastic tote full of bottles. This tote has followed me around for damn near 15 years. If any one has bomber bottles or swing top bottles they don’t want, it gets added to my tote. I actually have a bottle in there from our green board beer exchange, circa 2006.

I haven’t actually used a bottle from this tote in 8 years. Friday night I decide to soak half of these in pbw, then rinse and star San on Saturday.

I’m almost done, but then I grab a Highland Cold Mountain bomber. I give it a shake then dump the contents. A fair bit of crud comes out. Refill, shake, dump, & even more crud comes out. It looks like wet hair.

There was a dead rat in the bottle. Damn thing has probably been in there 10 years.

Good times
