+1. I've got 1 in the bunch that requires keg lube and 10PSI to remain sealed. If either of those 2 conditions are not met it leaks BAD.If a good amount of keg lube and a shot of pressure won't seal it up, do what I did; relegate that keg to storing starsan.

I thought I remember seeing that long term storage of starsan in SS will etch the SS.... but since you will never use it for holding beer, it may not matter.MBIf a good amount of keg lube and a shot of pressure won't seal it up, do what I did; relegate that keg to storing starsan.

+1. Something about the transition zone between the liquid and air on the edge of the keg gets attacked for some reason or another if I'm remembering correctly.I thought I remember seeing that long term storage of starsan in SS will etch the SS.... but since you will never use it for holding beer, it may not matter.MB

That's what I remember too. I think Palmer may have been the one to bring it up. Didn't somebody split a keg open under pressure one time? I can't imagine how badly that would suck.+1. I thought I recall someone being baffled about getting a pin hole leak in their keg side wall and scratching their head about it. However as the questioning progressed on trying to figure it out, it turns out they had been using it to hold star san previously and that was right at the transition point for the amount of star san they normally had.Someone else could have split one though. That's what I remember too. I'm probably mis-remembering it.I thought I recall someone being baffled about getting a pin hole leak in their keg side wall and scratching their head about it.
