yeast didn't show up on time so I had to go to my LHBS that ended up no longer being an LHBS.  they've gone full brew-pub but they did have some packets of S-04 around so that's what I'm using today.

Beer is fermenting this morning. Starting temp is about 64f. I'm hoping it warms up on its own but I may have to pull out the space heater.

The intended yeast is getting here today. USPS claimed it was getting delivered yesterday right up until the end of the day. Bastards!

So the kegs are already purged from the last batch that I didn't keg. No reason to repurge, right??

Early indications are that S-04 works just fine for this beer.

I didn't think I liked S-04 that much but for a beer like this it is actually great.
