Dumped a  batch Sunday morning.  My mill decided to act up and I had the worst crush ever but didn't notice until the sparge was over.  Added 1# of brown sugar to an anticipated post boil of 11.5 gal and had an OG of 1.040.  Was expecting 48 - 50 gravity points.  I decided to add some glucoamylase to at least get a bit of alcohol.  Then while running wort through the plate chiller and a post chiller I was using the discharge water to clean as I go.  Turned off the water after cleaning the starter flask.  Dumbass.....  My wort was at 85df, low gravity even with sugar added and US-05 starter had been pitched. It was a mercy killing.
