I was curious how that Anvil system was working for you.


I missed this one, sorry. Sadly, I've only brewed three batches so far. I will be brewing next week, though. It works great. Only complaint is it doesn't sustain as vigorous a boil as I'd like. I need to get the 220V which you've made possible for me going ASAP.

You are going to buy a whole new system or is this an upgrade that can be easily made?

You are going to buy a whole new system or is this an upgrade that can be easily made?


The Anvil can run off of 120 or 240. They leave an access port where you can attach a cord for 240 and you flip a switch and screw the cover back on. HVB kindly gave me an in-line GFCI that I can use as I'll be running off a dryer outlet, for now at least. I need to actually put the cord together and use it.
