I think one will be a dunkel.
The other perhaps a German pils.
Maybe another lager. Perhaps round two of baltic Porter.

Same. Actually, since my restart in brewing, the lowest OG I've had is 1.049. And that was for a sour that I brewed for my wife.

I just dumped the yeast cake that I fermented 3 lagers with. I got my use out of a single pack of 34/70.
Pretty good value for about $4.50.
I always get a little sad on that last use. Goodbye my tiny friends!

There were a lot of friends. I was surprised how far that cake had risen after 3 fermentations. Still, the cask widge float did its job great! There was virtually no beer left after draining my last keg. Just a yeast sludge.
So did you just drain and refill each time? I have wanted to do that but never time it right.

I've always dumped some portion of the cake out. I figured a whole cake was too much.
