I'd start with a soak in PBW or Oxyclean. Give it a really good soak.Subject says it all ... For those of you with Hoff Steven's kegs, how do you clean them? I have one that is pretty grimey on the inside. It looks like the dip tube has already been removed (got it from an old wine maker). For the 1st major clean what did you use? PBW and heating the keg? Caustic? I did some googling and found one page that talked about using a custom pressure washer wand.I would like to use this as a Gueuze barrel if I can get the inside cleaned out. Thanks and Cheers!
