You can play a bit - about 40 minutes - for free, but it's $10 to unlock the full experience and remove ads. Reviews say that a typical play through lasts about 10 hours, and you can play more than once meaningfully by choosing different clans.
If you're into the format and the universe, I recommend it highly.

I may check this out. I played V:tM all through highschool with a group of friends and for a couple years afterward. I was a badass monkeyfightin Gangrel.
