Pretty brilliant.  I'm not sure the experience would completely work out but a fun idea.  At $100 a car it would get pretty pricey to get a group together to race.  I'm assuming you'd all need your own switch as well...

At first I thought this was about these  .  I was going to get these for my kids but I just assume they will break them rather quickly.  They would love the other one you link to but not at that price.

They need to scale this up to real sized cars. Formula 1 has needed red turtle shells for a while now.
